digital-input Class D audio amplifiers and stand alone class D power stages.
Key findings include:
- The total market has grown to over $1 billion in 2007
- Class AB amplifiers were found to account for around 60% of the total
market unit shipments in 2007
- The total Class D amplifier market is forecast to almost double in
revenues from 2006 to 2011
- The largest application areas in 2007 were found to be cellular terminals
and home video players/recorders
- The Asia-Pacific region accounted for over two thirds of the market in 2007
