Abstract
Overview
This report-a companion report to the 2006 Identity Fraud Survey Report
published in January 2006-examines identity fraud and its characteristics
relative to the demographics of its victims. The report provides fi nancial
institutions with a fi ner understanding of how their identity fraud
prevention, detection, and resolution processes can be modifi ed to better
serve their clients and reduce operating losses.
