Worldwide High-Tech Equipment Manufacturing Revenue for the Top 50 IT Vendors, 2004

Abstract

This Manufacturing Insights update provides our best estimates of the worldwide high-tech equipment manufacturing revenue of the top 50 IT vendors in CY04. This update provides one measurement of a vendor's strength in or reliance on the high-tech equipment manufacturing industry. Although this document is intended to provide a macro view of IT vendor revenue in high-tech equipment manufacturing, we recognize the need for more granular segmentations. As such, we will continue to extend our research in this area and can develop specific requests on a custom basis. Please note that because this document focuses on the top 50 vendors across all industries and because the estimates are worldwide, it should not be compared with U.S. Manufacturing IT 2003 Vendor Analysis: IDC's Top Vendors (IDC #32614, December 2004).
