Abstract
Enterprises are increasingly mobilizing their applications onto mobile devices
to aid their sale and service field forces and ‘road warriors' who are
rarely or never at their desks. Now attention is turning toward placing
Unified Communications (UC) functions onto mobile devices - functions such as
IM, click to call and conferencing. This report examines enterprises' short-
and medium-term plans for investments in IP technologies and provides a
comprehensive overview and analysis of how enterprise communications are
likely to evolve over the next five years.
