Abstract
Volume 2 of the Yearbook of World Electronics Data tracks some of the most
influential countries within the global electronics industry. In total the 16
countries account for around 63% of the global electronics market and 67% of
production.
In addition to the USA and Japan the report provides data on key Asian
countries including South Korea, ranked number three in global component
production, Taiwan, the fourth largest producer of computers and related
peripherals worldwide, and Malaysia, which is now ranked third globally in
consumer electronics production.
