Abstract
This report provides a timely assessment of recent changes in the European
navigation industry and looks at how vehicle manufacturers are developing
embedded systems to rival PNDs. Consisting of two clearly defined sections,
it analyses the market trends of navigation in Europe and provides design
solutions for low-cost embedded systems, which will help reduce costs to the
end user thus stimulating an increase in customer take up.
