Abstract
After several years of accelerated growth, the construction machinery
manufacturing industry faces difficult times ahead as residential construction
spending in the United States falls off a cliff and end users curb purchases
of new equipment. Although the market increased seven percent in 2006, the
signs were already there that 2007 looked to be rough year-at least for most.
This all-new comprehensive report takes an in-depth look at the state of the
